In 2020, while still working in the oilfield, I decided to finally put my horticulture degree to work and started this project with the exciting, if not a little wild goal, of seeing if coffee could be grown in Texas. After a long and winding road with multiple pivots and setbacks I've decided to offer coffee plants to others instead of trying to grow it myself. To that end, I'm working with a third-party to help propagate what I've imported and then make those plants available - in commercial quantities - to farmers in Texas and Florida.
